British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham) in Cambodia is nominating Phnom Penh City Center’s Managing Director Michelle Lau to be part of a group of successful women in Cambodia. These under 35 years old nominees will compete within South East Asia, recognising successful Women of the Future, where the results will be announced in an awards ceremony on the 20th March 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Singapore.

There are seven categories where the women are:

  1. Professional & Business
  2. Entrepreneur
  3. Arts & Culture
  4. Community & Public Service
  5. Property, Construction & Infrastructure
  6. Media & Communications and
  7. Science, Technology & Digital.

Michelle Lau is nominated for the category of Property, Construction & Infrastructure. All the nominees were announced at the British Ambassador’s Residence on Wednesday 25th October 2017. There are 25 women named for Cambodia. The evening was hosted by HE British Ambassador William Longhurst, attended by HE Australian Ambassador Angela Corcoran and Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Phoeurng Sackona.

Only one nominee from each category will join the final contest on 20 March 2018 in Singapore.
